The Golden Mile sits at the very heart of Marbella, an area connecting the old town and commercial district of Marbella itself with the glamorous, jet-set harbour of Puerto Banus. The area offers some of the area´s best sandy beaches and is probably best-known for its two hotels - the Marbella Club and the Puente Romano Resort, the latter of which has become even more highly-regarded since its partnership with the famous NOBU brand.

The Golden Mile has always had a link to the wealthy Saudi Royal Family, who decided to build their Spanish holiday palace in the area, and the neighbouring mosque is a stunning architectural addition to the skyline.

The area of Nagueles lies to the north of the Golden Mile and is a predominantly residential district, connecting the coastal area with the prestigious hillside enclave of Sierra Blanca.
