Lying to the east of Marbella Town itself, but still within the town's municipal area, the region of East Marbella incorporates the popular districts of El Rosario, Las Chapas, Elviria and Cabopino.

The marina of Cabopino lies at the area's eastern-most point and is located approximately 15 kilometres from the centre of Marbella Town and a 30 minute drive from Malaga International Airport.

East Marbella offers fabulous sandy beaches (arguably the best on the Costa del Sol), in addition to pristine golf courses, amongst them Rio Real (the oldest in the area), Santa Clara, Marbella Golf, Santa Maria and Cabopino.

The thriving commercial centre in Elviria offers a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants, while the exclusive Hacienda Las Chapas is a great option for those seeking a secure and well-established area. The marina of Cabopino is often bypassed by tourists, but is adored by those that have stumbled upon it.
